PAID TRAINING DAY - $15 per hour for Orientation Day Only, then hourly rate change on first day out in the field

Oxfam is a global organization that fights inequality to end the injustice of poverty. We work in over 90 countries (including the U.S) offering life saving support to help people survive crises right now and tackle the root causes of poverty, to create lasting solutions for the long term.

Our Oxfam ChangeMakers team (canvassers) inspire members of the public, by speaking to people outside shopping centers and public streets, inviting those who want to be part of a movement of people who stand up to inequality and donate to our mission.

What we offer you:

$21 - $25 per hour (guaranteed hourly wage, starting pay based on experience)

Unlimited additional Bonus Pay/Incentives

Paid Training  ($15 per hour for Orientation Day only)

Full time (35+ hours a week)

Weekday and Weekend shifts available

Health/ Dental/ Vision Insurance after 90 days of employment (for those working full time and meet criteria)

Ongoing Training - Career development to Managerial posiitons

Work with a team who will support and coach you everyday in the field - you will NEVER work on your own.

We adhere to social distancing / contactless payments.

No Experience Necessary

Own vehicle preferred, not essential. Must have ability to travel to each site yourself each day, by transportation of your choosing.

This role is contracted with our HR Partner

This is not an office job. You will be on the road, meeting your Team Leader/Manager in the field and work with like-minded people who want to end the injustice of poverty. You will be given a schedule each week, so you will know what public places with high foot traffic you will be meeting your team, to speak to people - asking them for a monthly donation to the charity, through an iPad. You will be going to different working locations each day, so no day is the same!

Typical shift time starts: 10:00am - 6:00pm (7 hours paid per day)

Weekend availability preferred for occasional weekend work scheduled in advance, ability to take days off in the week instead.
