Job Description

PURPOSE OF POSITION: The purpose of the Systems Analyst position is to support the effective use of constituent data platforms to achieve fundraising, advocacy, and supporter engagement objectives. A member of an agile product team, this position will focus on end-user support of Salesforce Nonprofit Success Pack, including request intake and triage as well as direct marketing data production. 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support direct marketing campaigns through execution of data queries and coordination of audience segmentation list production.
• Provide training and ongoing support to end users of Salesforce Nonprofit Success Pack and adjacent constituent data platforms.
• Write and organize documentation in support of product team’s ongoing management of constituent data platforms and end user’s effective utilization of systems.
• Manage end user ticketing system for product support and development.
• Execute fundraising and marketing reporting from Salesforce ecosystem, including SQL based reporting.
• Perform quality assurance testing across constituent data platforms.
• Design feedback mechanisms and regularly consult stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, functional requirements, and use cases in support of product backlog.
• Support additional platform administration and data analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training. 
• 3-5 years’ experience writing queries using SQL, or more widely supporting customer/constituent data management.
• Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot tables, formulas, macros, and conditional formatting, as well as other Business Intelligence tools for data analysis.
• Highly organized, excellent problem-solving skills, detail oriented, and collaborative.
• Passion for working with and enabling others to effectively leverage data and systems.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across departments and levels.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with Salesforce ecosystem.
• Experience with fundraising at a nonprofit organization.
• Experience with agile methodology.

Additional Information

Boston Union / Exempt / Grade F  Salary Range for positions in this grade - $58,600 - $84,970
