  • Responsibilities

    The Marketing Assistant, Americas is responsible for helping with the design, creation, and delivery of marketing programs to support the growth and expansion of Oxford Economics in the region. The position involves promoting Oxford Economics more widely as a market leader by employing a full range of marketing mix, with particular focus on the generation of leads, research, and events.

    Working within a small but important team and reporting directly to the Digital Marketing Lead, the Marketing Assistant, Americas operates as an integral part of the sales and marketing process.

    Field Marketing Americas (and when necessary ROW)

    • Work with the Digital Marketing Lead to develop, plan, and execute a regional marketing plan, including sales campaigns, research, events, and webinars to support the subscription and consulting sales teams.
    • Identify and target key functions in the Americas in a range of sectors such as financial service, manufacturing, professional services, government, extractives, and education.
    • Research of targeted lists for use in sales campaigns and for events.
    • Assist with writing and editing of content campaigns to target clients in the Americas.
    • Assist with creation and updating of sales materials, the product catalog, and PowerPoint presentations.
    • Identify and manage prospect databases and partnerships to help reach new clients.
    • Development and maintenance of marketing databases.
    • Help with market research relating to competitors, customer needs, etc.
    • Support key marketing projects, such as CRM initiatives

    Global Marketing

    • Assist with digital marketing content-lead campaigns to attract and convert traffic on the website.
    • Assist ROW field marketing with identification of target names, and with the local execution of global sales campaigns.
    • Provide support for marketing projects related to planning, market segmentation, etc.
    • Assist with periodic announcements to clients, such as product launches, and service upgrades.

    Qualifications:

    • College degree required
    • 1 to 3 years of experience in marketing role.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
    • Ability to multi-task
    • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
    • Talent in writing, editing and design
    • Use of marketing software, including design software, CRM, and marketing automation
    • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and webinar programs such as Lync Intercall or Webex.
    • Spanish or Portuguese a plus
