Currently have an opening with our retail client for a Cybersecurity Analyst.

As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you will play a crucial role in monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security incidents.

Essential Functions

• Monitor security event information using available security information and event management (SIEM) tools
• Investigate and respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities.
• Conduct threat intelligence analysis to stay ahead of emerging threats.
• Collaborate with other teams to implement security measures and best practices.
• Assist in maintaining and enhancing the security infrastructure.
• Create and maintain reports on security incidents and trends.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity technologies and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience as a Cybersecurity Analyst or in a related role.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft Sentinel required.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity tools such as Proofpoint, Crowdstrike, Jira, and Office 365 apps preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH are a plus.
