Responsibilities: Follow all manufacturer specifications for vehicle system repairs to ensure optimum customer satisfaction and facilitate returning business Perform routine maintenance, as needed, like checking fluid levels, rotating tires, and oil changes Use diagnostic equipment, technical expertise, and the vehicle’s integrated diagnostic systems to identify and determine the cause of malfunction codes Explain automotive systems issues to customers to ensure a clear, transparent repair process Follow a checklist-based approach to comprehensively examine all vehicle systems, such as the engine, transmission, air conditioning, and brake systems Qualifications: National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence, or ASE certification is strongly desired Possess a high school diploma or GED Stellar customer service and communications skills are mandatory Must have completed a post-secondary training program in automotive service technology; associate degree a plus Compensation: $15.50 - $17.50 hourly
