Our Mazda dealership team is rapidly expanding, and we are currently looking for an experienced Automotive Technician to join our service center. The ideal candidate will be eager to diagnose and facilitate automotive repairs using our automotive computer software, and their electrical systems expertise. Ideally, looking for Mazda-certified experienced technicians who like to problem-solve until they find the best solution for the client. Responsibilities: • Help establish service protocols for tracking the status of repairs, maintaining relevant technical manuals, using charts, and more for all of our dealerships • Follow all manufacturer specifications for vehicle system repairs to ensure optimum customer satisfaction and facilitate returning business • Apply a checklist-based approach to ensure a comprehensive examination of all vehicle systems, including the engine, air conditioning, transmission, and brake systems • Use diagnostic equipment, technical expertise, and the vehicle’s integrated diagnostic systems to identify and determine the cause of malfunction codes • Clearly articulate automotive repair issues and repairs needed to remedy them to both customers and auto mechanics Qualifications: • Must have completed a post-secondary training program in automotive service technology; associate degree a plus • GED or high school diploma is mandatory • Excellent customer service and communications skills are necessary • ASE certification or comparable standard service technician credential, such as SAE, is attractive • Experience and background will dictate the hourly wage level. Compensation: $25 - $35 hourly
