Are you an experienced Automotive Lube Technician looking for an exciting new opportunity? We're looking for a lube service technician to perform oil changes, fluid top-offs, tire rotations, light bulb replacements, and inspections while assisting our master technicians on larger repairs. You'll build relationships with customers and advise them on essential maintenance needs. Our ideal candidate has some previous auto technician experience and the ability to learn the maintenance requirements of a variety of different automobiles. Responsibilities: • Provide suggestions for additional maintenance depending on the vehicle's age, mileage, and other factors • Make sure all work areas and the shop floor are clean, and that all safety rules are observed • Keep detailed records of all repairs made and components replaced • Check tire pressure and tread depth, and lubricate chassis components • Oversee shop inventories by tracking the use of oil and parts and placing new orders for supplies as necessary Qualifications: • Comfortable using car lifts, jacks, and other garage equipment safely • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent (GED) • Strong customer service skills • Lube technician experience of one or more years or related automotive experience is preferred • Able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds Compensation: $18 - $20 hourly
