Job Description
Structural Engineering company located in Downtown Memphis looking for a responsible Administrative Assistant to support the business owner. You will perform to perform a variety of administrative, clerical, light bookkeeping. You will answer phones, interface with customers and vendors in order to drive company success.
BASIC DUTIES:
- Assisting with a variety of administrative tasks requiring dropbox, excel, word, adobe pdf, etc.
- Answering phones and returning voicemails in a professional manner.
- Keeping accurate records of calls and routing the correct info to staff.
- Performing ad-hoc administrative duties, assisting colleagues with administrative tasks.
- Scheduling meetings and maintain calendar.
- Data entry and organization of projects in AirTable.
- Assist with invoicing, receivables, accounts payable and collection using Quickbooks. We will provide Quickbooks training courses.
- Draft correspondences and other formal documents.
- Perform all other office tasks.
Qualifications:
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills.
- Resourceful, able to use online and phone help systems to find solutions to issues.
- Computer skills to include Microsoft Word, Excel.
- Work schedule flexibility, with advance notice, to accommodate needs of the business.
- Previous experience in office administration or other related fields.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills.
Type: Part time to start 15 to 20 hrs per week. Full time after 3 months. $12.00-$18.00 depends on experience.
