Ozmo is seeking a highly motivated, creative Marketing Intern to join our growing team. As Marketing Intern, you will be focused on building Ozmo's brand awareness and helping market our products to enterprises. You will report to the Director of Marketing and work alongside our new business, customer success and product teams to elevate Ozmo's brand.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct regular, thorough research on the market to keep all Ozmo teams informed and connect findings to strategic roadmap planning
• Assist in the creation, localization and updating of strategic marketing materials to support lead generation efforts
• Create and publish both organic and paid social media content according to Ozmo's social media strategy across channels
• Coordinate all internal communication on a regular cadence and support employee engagement efforts
• Conduct and analyze an annual survey to measure local brand awareness and sentiment
• Contribute to our blog by writing thought-provoking articles on relevant industry topics
• Support the planning and execution of Ozmo’s participation in global trade shows

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Current enrollment in undergraduate studies in Marketing, Communications or Public Relations, or previous, proven experience in a related field
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills
• Talent for working autonomously and solving problems independently
• Ability to pay extremely close attention to detail, meticulous in nature
• Openness to learn, test and iterate without being easily discouraged
• Willingness to seamlessly adapt to ever-changing priorities in a fast-paced startup environment
• Desire to make a meaningful impact on a growing tech company and gain real-world marketing experience
• Knowledge of the latest tech news and industry trends is preferred
• Familiarity with Agile principles is preferred

This is an onsite position at our headquarters in Blacksburg, VA. The marketing internship is ideally suited for a candidate open to a full year internship with Ozmo, not just through the summer. The marketing intern has the ability to work up to full time during the summer and part-time with flexible hours during the school year.
