THIS POSITION WILL BE BASED OUT OF HAZARD/HARLAN AND WE ARE LOOKING TO HIRE SOMEONE WITHIN THIS GEOGRAPHIC REGION. 

FUNCTION AND SCOPE:

This position requires the employee to drive scheduled courier routes arriving at specific places at specific times. This position will drive different routes as business needs require. This employee will sort reports and supplies and deliver customer supplies.

Employee will utilize company vehicle for all courier travel

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Act as a daily liaison between P&C Labs and the clients served. Make Client Services Manager aware of any client questions or concerns that are brought to your attention.

2. Courier pick up of specimens and delivery of reports and supplies following an established schedule observing all posted traffic laws. Documentation of arrival time and number/type of specimen picked up using established route sheet.

3. Responsible for checking all vehicle fluid levels and refilling as needed, maintaining proper tire pressure, maintaining the interior/exterior appearance of the vehicle. All vehicle problems must be reported to the Transportation Manager immediately.

4 Sort and envelope out-going reports and process mail

5. Prepare and package client supplies

6. Participate in and promote P&C Labs Total Quality Management Initiative.

REQUIREMENTS

Applicant must have valid driver's license and the ability to operate a vehicle. Driving record must be acceptable to PCL in its sole discretion.
