    As Industrial Engineering Consultant at P3, your scope of work is unconventional. You will focus on industrialization and launch projects in the automotive value chain or address challenges in the EV sector.

    WHAT YOU'LL DO

    • Provide structural optimization of existing assembly and logistics operations along the entire value chain.
    • Link between production and development and support cross-functional industrial project teams.
    • Develop a lean logistics flow throughout the plant and drive a continuous improvement process.
    • You will gather and analyze data, identify trends and patterns, and draw meaningful insights from complex datasets.
    • Manage equipment installation with the supplier and provide documentation to management.
    • Stay current in EV technology, battery manufacturing, charging infrastructure, and sustainability practices.
    • Analyze existing processes and identify areas for improvement, including Lean Six Sigma methodologies, value stream mapping, and continuous improvement techniques to optimize efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance productivity (possibly in EV manufacturing).
    • Identify bottlenecks, quality issues, performance gaps, and data-driven decisions to improve processes to enhance overall operational efficiency.
    • Focus on the environmental impact of EV manufacturing and the importance of sustainability practices.
    • Communicate, present, and interface directly with clients.
    • Build internal competencies, intellectual property & networks.

    WHO YOU ARE

    • You have a Bachelor of Engineering degree: mechanical, industrial, electrical, or similar field.
    • You have 3+ years of experience in the automotive industry, knowledge in EV-sector a plus.
    • Good knowledge in lean production principles, material flow optimization, and continuous improvement processes.
    • You are familiar with EV components and systems, including batteries, motors, power electronics, and charging infrastructure.
    • You produce clear status reports, can identify issues, create solutions, and navigate resolutions.
    • Self-motivated and driven with entrepreneurial spirit.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, well spoken with powerful presentation skills.
    • You are detail oriented, structured and have common sense.
    • You can work on your own with minimal guidance, while putting your team's interests before your own.
    • You think ‘out of the box' to create solutions when none exist.
    • Analytical and highly competent in Excel, Minitab, and (ideally) Power Bi.
    • With an agile mindset you are not afraid of diving into uncharted waters.
    • Strong conflict resolution skills help you manage, mitigate, and resolve conflicts.
    • Your English skills are solid, German is a plus.
    • You are willing to travel.
    • You are legally authorized to work in the U.S.
