    WHAT YOU'LL DO

    The test engineer position focuses on development and execution of tests for the electric/electronic and software systems of market leading automotive technologies for Infotainment technologies
    People best suited for this position can drive technical solutions from innovative, technology-driven ideas and work well in a dynamic environment.

    Position Responsibilities:

    • Analyze requirement documents and specify and maintain test specification including reviewing with the product team using common software test methods.
    • Plan and execute software test cycles on both manual and/or automated tests on Test benches, HiL (Hardware in the Loop) systems and in Test Vehicles.
    • Evaluate and store test results and technical information/documents onto test management system.
    • Create issue reports on defect management system.
    • Verify the functionality of delivered bug fixes and documentation of the verification in the corresponding defect management system.
    • Creating documentation and maintaining existing documentation of steps to perform tests.
    • Support test management with responsible functionality.
    • Environment setup for manual and automatic testing (Flashing and configuration of modules).
    • You will solve top issues for companies across the US in all commodities.

    • Analyze data to determine the root cause of issues and driving sustainable solutions.Communicate, present, and interface directly with clients.

    WHO YOU ARE

    • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electronics Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics or related.
    • 2-5 years' experience in infotainment testing field in the automotive industry.
    • Experience in automotive product development.
    • Experience with features such as navigation, voice, diagnostics, radio, HMI, system and settings, phone connectivity, Bluetooth.
    • Testing experience at several levels: component, sub-system, system and/or vehicle.
    • Execution and results analysis for automatic testing with tools like Teststand, Automation Desk, or similar.
    • Automotive communication protocols – CAN, LIN, Ethernet, Flexray.
    • Audio communication protocols – A2B or similar.
    • Requirement analysis.
    • ISTQB foundation level certified desired.
    • Software engineering methodologies, agile methods e.g. SCRUM, bug tracking.
    • Electronics - schematics reading, using oscilloscope, multimeter.
    • Advanced MS Office (Excel, PPT, MS Project).
    • Automotive Standards: Autosar, ASPICE (Automotive SPICE).
    • DOORS, SharePoint, JIRA or similar.
    • Knowledge of data acquisition tools (e.g., CANoe, CANalyzer, dSpace).
    • You are detail oriented, structured and have common sense.
    • You can work on your own with minimal guidance, while putting your team's interests before your own.
    • You think ‘out of the box' to create solutions when none exist.
    • With an agile mindset you are not afraid of diving into uncharted waters.
    • Strong conflict resolution skills help you manage, mitigate, and resolve conflicts.
    • Your English skills are solid, German and Spanish are a plus.
    • You are legally authorized to work in the U.S.
