    ACCOUNTING ANALYST 

    COMPANY DESCRIPTION

    P3Works, LLC is a fast-growing company that creates and manages special development districts (primarily Public Improvement Districts) authorized by our Texas municipal and county clients. Special districts like PIDs are geographic areas that are created by various provisions of State law that are formed for the purpose of financing major public infrastructure in Texas cities and counties.

    Municipalities and counties that create special districts typically issue 30-year debt to pay for public infrastructure to serve the district and as such, require detailed oversight and management under State law for the entire term of the obligation. Each district is unique and requires a wide range of skills to administer. P3Works has locations in North Richland Hills and Austin, Texas, with principal and support staff at each location.

    JOB SUMMARY

    Accounting Analyst will perform tasks related to transactions, reconciliations, record keeping, administration and client relations. Accounting Analyst will work closely with various executives and managerial staff to provide support related to accounting, reporting and banking/trustee transactions. Must be able to handle a wide variety of tasks and confidential matters with discretion and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.     JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    · Review accounting statements, bank/trustee transactions

    · Prepare internal and external corporate documents

    · Maintain an organized filing system of paper and electronic documents

    · Coordinate executive communications, including taking calls, responding to emails and interfacing with clients

    · Communicate findings internally with staff and externally with clients on project specifics

    SKILLS NECESSARY TO PERFORM JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    · High level proficiency in Microsoft Excel

    · Excellent review and analysis skills

    · Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    · Ability to prioritize and attend to multiple projects with distinct characteristics daily, including preparation, organization and maintenance of electronic and paper files

    · Ability to take direction, work independently and clearly communicate findings

    . Ability to formulate questions and apply solutions to complex financial agreements

    DESIRED EXPERIENCE

    5+ years’ experience in a bank or other financial institution, or government accounting office, development related financing, tax exempt debt familiarity, municipal policies and procedures
