    We are seeking consultants and specialists with expertise in privacy and ethics to join our rapidly expanding team in the United States, under the Digital Trust and Cyber Security division. By becoming part of this growing team in the US, you will also be connected to our extensive global team located in the UK and Europe. Your background might include experience as a privacy consultant, work within an in-house privacy team, or a background in technology or law with a strong interest in transitioning into a consulting role.

    You will have opportunity to:

    • Create customer trust and confidence in how data is collected, used and stored through improved privacy UX
    • Advise on regulatory compliance with a focus on practical solutions for business and technology changes
    • Assess and address privacy and ethics risks in business activities across the world such as data sharing, retention, and security
    • Establish new frameworks and governance for data ethics and AI to identify and address bias and transparency in new products

    The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:

    Qualifications

    • Possession of relevant qualifications such as IAPP CIPM, CIPT, CIPP/US, CIPP/E, and/or CHPE, as well as participation in industry-related organizations (e.g., IAPP), would be advantageous. If you do not have these qualifications, we are committed to supporting your achievement of them.

    • Proficiency in using and implementing data privacy technology and governance tools like OneTrust, along with applicable certifications.

    • Comprehensive knowledge of data protection and privacy laws and regulations (e.g., CCPA/CPRA, VCDPA, CPA, EU GDPR, HIPAA) and familiarity with industry standards and frameworks such as NIST.

    • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders (e.g., business, legal, IT, security) on matters related to data protection and privacy, and the capacity to analyse and identify technical and legal solutions to mitigate risks.

    Your involvement will vary, ranging from supporting the delivery of data privacy projects to serving as a subject matter expert or leading a team, typically involving both PA and client personnel. Throughout your journey, you will receive support from our US team and benefit from knowledge-sharing opportunities and collaboration with colleagues from our global team.
