    YOUR DAY TO DAY 

    We have a strong client base in the global food industry. Many of our clients seek our support optimizing existing and/or investigating and inventing new processing, sterilization, and packaging technologies.  We also look at the chemistry of food combined with the impacts of process conditions and help our clients maximize flavor, texture, aromatics, and food safety. We derive commercial opportunities in product/process interactions and scale them to grow and enhance our client production portfolios. 

    You Are: 

    • Self-starter with the ability to prioritize, take ownership and deliver results against challenging performance indicators 
    •  Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and communicate effectively across the organization and with valued clients. 
    • Highly collaborative, able to adapt and work with diverse team members globally 
    • Ability to effectively manage /operate on multiple projects and teams simultaneously 
    • Strong organizational, analytical, influence and negotiation skills 
    • At least 10 years of experience in Production, Process or Continuous Improvement roles within Agri-Food or food Consumer Goods Manufacturing 
    • Project management experience is highly desirable

    WHAT YOU BRING 

    • The preferred candidate will possess an MSc degree in Food Science or related discipline with a minimum of 8 to 10 years in process and/or product development experience encompassing concept to launch of new products. 
    • Preferably hands-on experience working in a large food production environment including expertise in one or more specific food processing technologies such as baking, extrusion, drying etc. 
    • Confirmed proficiency in developing and implementing strategies for process optimization control 
    • Experience with developing and implementing process innovation, improvements in an agri-food manufacturing environment 
    • Strong project management skills and demonstrated the ability to simultaneously handle a number of projects at various stages of development. 
    • Strong interpersonal skills and experienced in providing leadership and direction to and within cross functional teams and client stakeholders on technical projects. 
    • Strong technical report writing and presentation skills. 
    • Must have an advanced knowledge of food chemistry, ingredients impacting fermentation, formulae, statistics, and recipe costing requirements.

     

    In addition, any experience of the following will also be strongly beneficial: 

    • Hands-on development and scaling of industrial processing technologies 
    • Algorithm development for sensing applications 
    • Food product development in a commercial environment 
    • Management of technology development projects 
    • Reliability engineering 
    • Experience in developing and applying sustainability metrics to processes
