  • Responsibilities

    PABCO® Gypsum, a division of PABCO® Building Products LLC, has provided quality gypsum board products and service for over 35 years. PABCO® Gypsum supplies a complete line of gypsum products for commercial and residential construction.

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • May often be required to work on-call.
    • Performs routine troubleshooting and repair of basic electrical equipment
    • Assists in the design and assembly of motor starters and electrical controls
    • Runs conduit, pulls wires and makes routine connections
    • Ability to recognize and communicate the need for parts to be reordered
    • Maintains daily logbook
    • Troubleshoots of PLC, AC Drive and QCS
    • Maintain excellent attendance and punctuality
    • Attends safety meetings and abides by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies; ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected

    Successful candidates will have:

    • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
    • Electrical trade school preferred
    • 2-3 years of industrial electrical experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
    • Ability to use and operate electrical testing and calibration instruments, multi-meter and a variety of hand tools
    • Proficient in troubleshooting of control circuits, using electrical diagrams, single lines and PLC ladder diagrams
    • Must be able to run conduit and have experience with types of Benders - hand to hydraulic
    • Fully versed in the National Electric Code
    • Ability to read technical drawings
    • Knowledge of AC Drive
    • Overtime, weekend and holiday work may be required
