OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE - NY 5 BOROUGHS

PACOA is seeking an Outside Sales Representative for the 5 boroughs who is experienced and knowledgeable about painting, hardware, plumbing, electrical, power tools, or general home improvement.

The Outside Sales Representative should be a road warrior with a hunter mentality who thrives on relationships and will go the extra mile.

TERRITORY: NY 5 Boroughs of New York

COMPENSATION: Base salary (DOE), travel allowance, uncapped bonus program

ABOUT US:  PACOA is a family-run organization that prides itself on being an independent distributor to independent dealers in the tri-state area and beyond.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Establish and cultivate relationships with existing & new accounts in your assigned territory
• Utilize corporate tools and applications to document, plan, monitor, and meet sales objectives
• Meet with 8-10 clients each day where you will take orders for current stock, up-sell them with new products to increase retail space, make sure our product is merchandised properly and pack out their overstock
• Monitor and analyze market conditions, competitor activity and customer base, and adjust sales plans accordingly
• Manage your call cycle 
• Meet with your Sales Manager to develop innovative ways to target your territory & strategize
• Anticipate customer needs proactively and respond to customers in a timely manner

EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS:

• High School or GED required
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Experience in painting, hardware, plumbing, electrical, power tools, or general home improvement
• Outside sales/road warrior experience
