Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Work on NCMR, CAPA, and customer complaint issues.

·         Support receiving inspection, in-process and final inspection of outgoing products.

·         Analyze data, prepare reports and make recommendations to Senior Management about process improvements, process controls, data analysis, continuous improvement and corrective/preventive actions.

·         Provide timely resolution of manufacturing issues on the production floor.

·         Work with customers and suppliers to address quality and/or compliance issues.

·         Lead and support third-party audits.  Conduct internal audits.

·         Other responsibilities as assigned.

 REQUIREMENTS:

·         BS degree in a technical discipline such as Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.

·         Minimum three (3) years in quality assurance.  Working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 13485, or AS9100C.

·         MUST have experience with SMT, soldering, and electro-mechanical assembly. 

·         MUST have working knowledge of IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620, and/or J-STD-001 workmanship standards.

·         Medical Device or Aerospace QA experience is strongly preferred.

·         Excellent communicator at all levels within an organization (i.e. verbal, written, presentations)

·         Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings, specifications, Bills of Materials, etc.

·         Understand and able to use root cause analysis tools and methodology.

·         Statistical Processes Control (SPC) knowledge and application.

·         Ability to simultaneously focus on multiple activities in a fast paced environment.

·         Demonstrated ability to identify, analyze, and resolve problems.

·         Hands on, results driven, adaptable and flexible.
