Marriott Long Island is seeking dependable, service-focused team members to join our Food & Beverage and Banquets team. If you enjoy a fast-paced hospitality environment and take pride in delivering exceptional guest experiences, we'd love to meet you.

We are currently hiring for the following positions:

• Buffet Attendant

• Dishwasher

• Banquet Houseman

• Food & Beverage Runner

Position Overview

These roles are essential to delivering seamless banquet events, conferences, weddings, and daily restaurant operations. Team members support event setup, food presentation, cleanliness, and overall guest satisfaction while upholding Marriott brand standards.

Key Responsibilities

Depending on position, responsibilities may include:

Buffet Attendant

• Set up, replenish, and maintain buffet stations

• Monitor food presentation, cleanliness, and temperature standards

• Provide courteous assistance to guests

• Maintain a clean and organized service area

Dishwasher

• Operate dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently

• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, dish room, and storage areas

• Support kitchen staff with proper sanitation practices

• Ensure all wares are cleaned, sanitized, and stored properly

Banquet Houseman

• Set up and break down banquet rooms according to event orders

• Arrange tables, chairs, staging, dance floors, and meeting equipment

• Maintain cleanliness of event spaces and storage areas

• Assist with last-minute room adjustments as needed

F&B Runner

• Deliver food from kitchen to banquet floor or restaurant promptly

• Support servers during events

• Ensure food quality and presentation standards are maintained

• Assist with event breakdown and reset

What We're Looking For

• Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays

• Team-oriented mindset and strong work ethic

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (Banquet Houseman/Runner roles)

• Hospitality experience preferred but not required

• Commitment to guest service excellence
