OUR OFFICE: Our general practice, on Macadam Ave. between Sellwood and the Ross Island Bridge, is hiring a part-time hygienist.

We are a patient-centered, family-friendly dental office on the River with a beautiful new office and a wonderful, long-term team. The person we hire must be passionate about the job and the patients. New grads and experienced hygienists are welcome to apply. WE have recently moved into a beautiful new office, and our team is truly a family. We always put the patient first.

As a Dental Hygienist in our practice, you will play a vital role in providing quality oral healthcare to our patients.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND SKILLS:

Perform all dental hygiene procedures

Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and health instructions

Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed

Assist the dentist when needed

Maintain accurate patient records at all times

Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment

Team player

Excellent patient care skills

Good communicator

BENEFITS: Limited benefits for part-time employees include an IRA with an employer match, paid parking, and paid vacation. Eligible part-time employees accrue 1 hour of PTO for every 30 hours worked, up to a maximum accrual of 40 hours each year. This can be discussed with the dentist during your interview appointment.

COMPENSATION: UP TO $68

DAYS AND HOURS: You can choose to work one day or 2 days per week, any combination of Monday, Wednesday, or Thursday. Hours are 7 am to 4 pm.
