    We have part-time positions available starting in September and we need enthusiastic people to help spread our passion for art education. Kidcreate Studio Wilmington is a fast-growing, woman-owned mobile art business and this position is an excellent opportunity to start a rewarding career with us.

    This part-time lead art teacher position may be the perfect job for graphic designers, college students, retired teachers, paraeducators, freelance artists, ceramic artists, daycare providers, and caregivers.

    RESPONSIBLITIES: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

    Leading art classes

    Class and project supply preparation

    Interaction with class participants, caregivers and key site stakeholders

    Class set-up and clean-up

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    High School diploma or GED.

    1 year of work experience, preferably with children or in a creative field.

    You must be 18 years of age or older.

    You are comfortable working with kids ages 18-months to 12.

    You must be able to teach and manage students during art classes and camps.

    You must be enthusiastic, reliable, punctual, creative, and love working with kids.

    You must have flexible availability and be available at least 3 days a week, nights and weekends.

    You may have availability during no-school days, during school breaks and during school summer vacation.

    You must have a valid driver's license and a reliable car to get to the variety of locations we serve.

    You are willing to drive to different locations to provide art education classes (generally within a 15 mile range of Wilmington, MA).

    You must be willing to take a background/CORI check.

    ABOUT KIDCREATE STUDIO WILMINGTON Kidcreate Studio Wilmington is a mobile art studio specializing in children's art classes, camps, and art-themed birthday parties for Wilmington and the surrounding communities. Our mobile art classes are a great way to introduce children to the beautiful world of art through their local school, church, daycare, or recreation center! We provide a positive, self-esteem-building environment for children to explore the visual arts. Children get messy with paint, clay, and many other art materials! Weekly classes, camps, workshops, and homeschool classes are age-specific and are tailored to provide each student with the curriculum that suits them best.

    While we specialize in art classes for kids from 18-months to 12 years old, we are equally excited to offer classes to groups of creative teens, adults and seniors, because making a fridge-worthy masterpiece, learning art concepts, and creating art is fun at any age!
