Internship Purpose:
The EILEEN FISHER Internship Program cultivates the professional and personal development of our interns through meaningful immersion in our organization and culture. Interns gain valuable knowledge and hands-on work experience, while developing useful skills, building their resumes, and expanding their professional networks.
The internship program will commence on June 5 and end on August 11, 2023.
Position Summary:
This position can be hybrid in NY Metro area or remote
Assist in the design and production of print, web, email and other advertising assets for wholesale, retail and EILEENFISHER.com
Application must include online portfolio/ print design examples.
This is a paid internship.
Learning Goals:
· Develop advanced skills in the Adobe Creative Suite and gain proficiency in Figma
· Learn communication and design skills that better facilitate collaborations
· Learn better ways to optimize workflow
Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
· The intern will work with Art Directors, Design Directors and Senior Designers on print and digital projects.
· Take ownership of a substantial redesign project, from conception through production.
· Assist with layout preparation, organization and production as needed.
· Join our weekly team meetings to see how our team collaborates.
· Participate in concepting projects.
PERFORMS OTHER RELATED DUTIES AND ASSIGNMENTS AS REQUIRED.
