With expertise in science, health, economics, technology, advocacy, and dozens of other specialties, PATH develops and scales solutions—including vaccines, drugs, devices, diagnostics, and innovative approaches to strengthening health systems worldwide.

     

    The Chief of Party will have primary responsibility for liaising with USAID and other stakeholders. They will oversee award implementation, providing the technical vision and approach and managing the project team and consortium members. They will ensure the project complies with award terms and conditions, USAID policies and regulations, and systems are in place to mitigate risk of fraud, waste, and abuse.

    Required Skills Required Experience

     

    • A Master’s Degree in public health, international development, social services, business administration, or related field.
    • At least ten years of experience in a senior role leading complex donor funded global health programs.
    • At least seven years of demonstrated experience in partnership building, especially with government representatives, donors, the private sector, and local community organizations.
    • Proven experience in managing programs, financial and administration management, award contractual compliance, sub-award management, and tracking project performance and costs.
    • Strong experience with USG programming and financial reporting required.
    • Strong management skills, strategic vision, leadership qualities, professional reputation, ability to create synergies where applicable, interpersonal skills, and written and oral presentation skills to fulfill the diverse technical and managerial requirements of the project description.
    • Professional fluency in oral and written English.
