With expertise in science, health, economics, technology, advocacy, and dozens of other specialties, PATH develops and scales solutions—including vaccines, drugs, devices, diagnostics, and innovative approaches to strengthening health systems worldwide.

     

    PATH is currently recruiting for a part time (60%) Program Coordinator to work within the GHP management team, with a reporting line to the GHP Senior Project Manager.  The person in this role works with a team to address GHP operational processes that need systemic solutions.  For example, projects could include research, designing and developing audit tracking capabilities, or improving how we plan and develop donor deliverables like reports or presentations.

     

     

    The person in this role will work with teams across PATH and most closely with colleagues in shared services; country offices; and program areas (HIV/TB, health systems, malaria, non-communicable diseases, maternal newborn child health and nutrition, digital health and reproductive health).  

     

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

     

    • Help plan and facilitate meetings, planning sessions and stakeholder interviews
    • Take simple, clean and easy to understand notes at meetings, planning sessions and stakeholder interviews
    • Share action items and follow up with stakeholders to ensure completion
    • Assist in the drafting and finalization in the development of project materials, presentations and deliverables
    • Assist in the development and management of relevant project schedules/work plans
    • Maintain project/process documentation
    • Analyze existing business processes to become knowledgeable about relevant content
    • Support other projects or initiatives as needed

    Required Skills Required Experience

     

    • Bachelor’s degree, with a focus in public health, business, nonprofit administration or related field preferred plus a minimum of 3 years of directly related administrative experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Experience working with globally distributed teams
    • Experience in process/systems improvement
    • Proven ability to shift seamlessly between different projects and initiatives
    • Proven ability to be flexible and adapt to the needs of different projects and initiatives
    • Proven ability to be impeccably organized in note taking, document naming and file organization and documentation
    • Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to interact with and build strong relationships with global colleagues and partners and provide creative solutions in a professional manner.
    • Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment and as part of a cross-disciplinary team operating in multiple locations
    • Ability to efficiently track and maintain progress toward varied objectives/deadlines
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. French language skills a plus
    • Proficiency in MS Office products, experience with Tableau and Salesforce a plus
    • Experience with Smartsheet and other management software preferred
    • Experience with Client Relationship Management tools such as Salesforce preferred
    • Project management skills, with excellent attention to detail; able to synthesize, organize, and present information effectively to different audiences
    • Proven ability to take initiative, learn quickly, anticipate needs and challenges, and find solutions
    • Ability to prioritize and effectively manage time, tasks, and responsibilities
