The Client Manager is responsible for the overall relationship with clients, from implementation, everyday problem resolution through renewal activities. The Client Manager will work directly with sales executives and client coordinators to support and service between 12 – 20 groups of clients between $50,000 - $250,000 ANR. They maintain senior management level contact with Benefits, Human Resources, and the financial staff of the client. The Client Manager is also responsible for the service delivery of Health Benefits products and services that ensure client satisfaction.
Key Accountabilities
Responsible for the ongoing day-to-day involvement with assigned clients, including but not limited to:
Assumes primary responsibility for implementation of new business in close collaboration with implementation manager, including but not limited to:
Working closely with the sales producers to learn not only what was sold but also nuances and personality of group
Ensuring timely completion of SPD
Set up and maintenance of performance metrics
Directs and oversees stop loss renewal with Sales Coordinator/Underwriter
Participates in appropriate client/departmental corporate meetings
Coordinates communication with client/Health Benefits departments/vendors regarding new groups, terminations, plan changes, issues, new products, etc.
Produces other projects, analyses, reports, etc. as directed by client/director/consultant/senior management
Other duties as needed/assigned.
