    We are looking for an LEAD USER EXPERIENCE DESIGNER to join our growing Creative Services team! As a Lead User Experience (UX) Designer you will be collaborating and working in a digital design environment and will be responsible for creating meaningful and compelling web and mobile app experiences that exceed users' expectations and achieve desired business outcomes. You possess passion for human-centered design and are an end-user advocate on project teams where they collaborate with Creative & UX Leadership, Researchers, Data Analysts, Product Owners, Engineers, and Developers to deliver exceptional, interactive brand experiences that are intuitive, engaging, and desirable, ultimately providing differentiated value. Your primary role will be synthesizing research learnings, connecting the dots between user needs, business drivers, and technology, and creating solutions that delight the customer and deliver on business objectives. Another key area of focus will be understanding Trustmark’s business needs and product requirements and transforming that understanding into user-focused design roadmaps for intuitive products, device interfaces, and platforms for mobile, desktop and web.  You must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment using Agile/Scrum methodology with design sprints.

     

    KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

    • Translate user insights and business requirements into seamless workflows, information architecture, low-, medium-, and high-fidelity wireframes and prototypes, and stunning user interface designs and data visualizations using Adobe XD
    • Communicate user experience and customer requirements through storytelling, interactive prototypes, and other iterative artifacts which serve as part of a complete visual and functional design specification
    • Participate in Design Research efforts to ensure solutions are rooted in real-world user needs and deliver necessary functionality in ways that delight and drive adoption
    • Lead presentations and discussions with customers and internal stakeholders through storytelling in a way that validates designs, inspires confidence, and drives approval
    • Deliver detailed design documentation for development teams to execute and deliver quality experiences to our customers using Zeplin
    • Partner with development teams to help drive successful implementation of the design specifications
    • Follow-up and resolve any implementation issues that affect the design
    • Assist other UX Designers in the creation and maintenance of interaction and style guides across the company
    • Contribute to our Design Center of Excellence, providing expertise and mentoring and sharing best practices with Design Center of Excellence teammates

     

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, human-computer interaction (HCI), Human System Engineering, or related programs or a BA/BS in non-related field with relevant certifications and equivalent professional experience  required
    • A minimum of five years of UX or interaction design experience required
    • Strong information design experience with a solid foundation in UX design heuristics required
    • Solid knowledge of digital design & development processes required
    • Familiarity with the technical considerations needed when designing for browsers and mobile required
    • Experience with design for mobile browsers and multiple screen sizes required
    • Success in creating innovative and user-friendly responsive websites and customer-facing features; strong work portfolio that demonstrates systematic and creative design thinking as well as a deep understanding of UI/UX best practices required
    • Proficient in digital design technology, wireframing, collaboration and prototyping software required
    • Experience applying Accessibility best practices (WCAG) required
    • Proficient in innovation processes, including product discovery and product/process measurement required
    • Experience leading and/or designing user experience research studies and methods required
    • Experience with agile/scrum methodology preferred
    • Experience with online commerce, shopping, and checkout preferred
    • Experience with CRM, Data Analytics, DX Platforms and collaboration with Enterprise Architecture and Development teams preferred
    • Experience working through a digital transformation preferred (Fortune 500 company, Digital start-up, etc...)
    • Experience designing mobile apps, desktop software, web applications, voice UI, touch-screen interfaces, device screen and/or physical interfaces preferred
    • Familiar with front end development coding languages preferred
