    PATH is currently recruiting for a Senior Program Assistant who will provide administrative and programmatic support for the Product and Market Advancement (PMA) program.

     

    The PMA Program at PATH develops, advances, and facilitates commercialization of health technologies for low-resource settings. PATH teams conduct collaborative research and development with universities, manufacturers, and other institutions to develop products that are appropriate and affordable for developing-country use. PATH’s goals in these collaborations are to achieve maximum sustainable public health benefit and to facilitate global technology access. 

     

    We are seeking a Senior Program Assistant to provide administrative and entry level project management support the Formulation Technology group as well as projects under our Vaccine and Pharmaceutical Packaging and Delivery group. The position will also periodically work on proposals and other side projects as needed.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

     

    • Schedule and assist with team meetings, including all arrangements for conference line, rooms, and equipment, compiling and organizing relevant background materials, preparing agendas, drafting meeting minutes, and monitoring follow-up activities
    • Prepare, format, and copyedit reports, presentations, and other project materials, ensuring compliance with PATH document standards as well as those set by external parties (journals, donors, etc.)
    • Provide document coordination, including preparation of figures, tables, and other elements; managing the internal review and approval process; and final submission of documents
    • Support activities led by technical staff through basic research, analysis, and/or drafting various types of reports, analyses, and presentations using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, project management tools, etc.
    • Draft correspondence to donors, partners, and collaborators including cover letters, thank-you letters, and general email correspondence
    • Responsible for logistics for partner meetings and arrangements for guests, conferences, workshops, and other events, coordinating with the project team as needed
    • Maintain project files and records in Box and other platforms as needed
    • Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting for grant-funded projects, working with relevant team members
    • Provide general administrative support to team members, complete administrative tasks as required, including supply request documentation, conference registrations, etc
    • Provide back-up support for specific assignments and other administrative support as requested by the Finance and Operations Team Leader

     

    Required Skills Required Experience

     

     

    • Bachelor's degree, plus a minimum of 2 years of directly related administrative experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Experience coordinating calendars, organizing workshops, creating workback schedules, and managing timelines
    • Excellent oral and written communications skills
    • Well organized and adaptable to handling multiple and changing priorities within a fast-paced work environment
    • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with particular skill in Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint, proficiency with Adobe Acrobat. Experience with Smartsheet, Box, and Salesforce a plus
    • Excellent formatting, editing, and proofreading skills
    • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
    • Proven ability to take initiative, while anticipating needs and challenges, and finding solutions
    • Ability to prioritize and effectively manage time, tasks, and responsibilities
    • Demonstrated success working effectively while under deadlines
    • Demonstrated passion for learning and commitment to global health equity
    • Ability to work in team environment with minimal supervision
    • Helpful but not required: college level scientific coursework such as biology or chemistry, experience in nonprofit administration, global health, international development, event coordination and/or similar areas

    We offer our employees a competitive salary and generous benefits. For candidates based in the U.S., the annual salary range for this position is $53,784-$81,536. The final salary is based on a variety of objective factors.

    HYBRID WORK

    PATH operates within a hybrid workplace model unless otherwise noted. Hybrid employees must reside within commuting distance to one of our PATH offices. PATH’s US offices are located in Seattle, WA and Washington, DC.

     

    COVID-19 VACCINE REQUIREMENT

    PATH has instituted a COVID-19 vaccine mandate for all employees, interns, consultants, and temporary staff based in the United States.
