HealthFitness has a number of flexible new on-call (as needed based on demand) opportunities for passionate, customer-focused FRONT DESK ATTENDANTS at our client's community aquatics and fitness facility located in WEST HARTFORD, CT! This is a family friendly facility offering an extensive aquatic program as well as fitness offerings. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for members. You will greet, check in, and assist members and guests; provide program information and ensure the highest level of customer service and participant satisfaction. 

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Greeting, checking members/guests into facility, and providing assistance as needed.
• Assists in cleaning and disinfecting duties, as required by new COVID-19 procedures.
• Assists with all member service desk administration and processes, including answering phones.
• Efficiently responds to client and participant requests, comments or concerns and brings issues to timely and appropriate resolution.
• Maintains and updates participant and facility policies as appropriate. Educates participants on policies and procedures.
• Participate in internal programs and special events.
• Opening and/or closing duties. 
• Other duties as needed/assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience is strongly preferred.
• Must be able to work varied hours and days of the week.
• Current First Aid, CPR/AED certifications from the American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or the American Safety & Health Institute preferred.
• Applicants must meet hiring requirements including, but not limited to, pre-employment drug test.
