With more than 40 years of experience forging multisector partnerships, and with expertise in science, economics, technology, advocacy, and dozens of other specialties, PATH develops and scales up innovative solutions to the world’s most pressing health challenges.  

     

    KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT

    PATH has been strengthening public health in India for more than four decades. Currently, PATH is working with government officials, donors, and partners to provide technical assistance to many states on various issues such as TB, HIV/AIDS, RMCHNA, Mental Health, etc.  In the current COVID-19 crisis, now more urgent than ever PATH India’s work on medical oxygen includes upgrading key oxygen generation facilities and advising state and local governments on procurement. It has coordinated across the Ministry of Health, State health departments, district authorities, and various facility-level functionaries to provide medical oxygen amid the oxygen crisis.

     

    Knowledge Management in PATH is looking at supporting the overall knowledge dissemination, generation, and training. It actively supports the development and the dissemination of a vast range of knowledge products such as policy briefs, case studies, compendiums, webinar reports, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), high-quality PPTs, etc. for other programs.

     

    PATH is looking for highly motivated, self-starters, and enthusiastic interns to work with the Knowledge Management team.  

    WORK LOCATION – NEW DELHI

    DURATION – THREE MONTHS, HIRING ON A ROLLING BASIS

     

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

     

    Responsibilities may include one or many, but are not limited to, of the following:

     

    • Support in report writing and editing of reports to be submitted to the donors. The Intern will also be supporting the documentation of the WHO-SEARO -Lessons learned from selected countries
    • Support in case study development, technical and human-interest stories from the field (about 2-3 case studies along with a collection of high-resolution photographs from the field)
    • Facilitating key informant interviews with the stakeholders such as (Government, health facilities, etc.) as a part of the case study documentation. Collection of testimonials from the stakeholders
    • Populating high-quality and creative decks for projects
    • Assist in drafting required for SOPs and guidelines
    • Conduct secondary research and present analysis of the same with meaningful conclusions
    • Document proceedings and key messages of meetings, webinars, seminars, etc. for onward dissemination
    • Organizing the layout of the case studies in PATH template
    • Coordinate with different teams for the required inputs, insights, and guidance
    • Work on other deliverables (ad-hoc need basis)

     

     

    Required Skills Required Experience

     

     

    • Fresh graduates or final year Bachelor’s/Master’s student in Public Health/Mass Media/Journalism/Public Relations 
    • The experience gained as part of previous training, internship, or college dissertation may also be considered.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a complex environment
    • Comfortable with collaborating across all levels of leadership within the organization
    • Basic primary and secondary research and analytical skills
    • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure situations.
    • Excellent command over MS Office applications, especially MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint
    • Excellent in written and spoken English
    • Knowledge of regional language of the state in which the Intern is placed will be an added advantage
    • Intern to report in Delhi office frequently (based on the COVID-19 situation each month)

     

     

    SKILLS TO BE DEVELOPED AND/OR EXPANDED DURING INTERNSHIP

    • Understanding of the respiratory care ecosystem
    • Knowledge of global health, medical technology innovations, digital health, nonprofit management, and business development
    • Fostering collaboration and coordination among team members
    • Exposure to PATH programs
