    WORKING TITLE: PUBLIC HEALTH SPECIALIST (ON THIRD PARTY PAYROLL, RANDSTAD)

    LOCATION: JAIPUR, RAJASTHAN

    ABOUT THE PROGRAM:

     

    To enhance the implementation of Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission (PM ABHIM) has been initiated to focus on building India's critical healthcare infrastructure at the local level over the next few years. It intends to strengthen primary, secondary, and tertiary care health systems, as well as to expand existing national institutions and establish new ones to address the diagnosis and treatment of new and emerging diseases.

    PATH will be providing Technical Assistance (TA) to the Government of Jammu & Kashmir for supporting the implementation of various activities under Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission particularly the operationalization of integrated public health laboratories and block public health units. PATH would also support strengthening of surveillance systems and implementation of State action plan for AMR and One Health. The TA will be structured to support the state in delivering effective, safe, and designing quality health interventions for its population and developing strategic policy frameworks to achieving the mission goals and objectives. Against this, PATH will contribute to improve the functioning of J&K’s health workforce, identify challenges and priorities, and efficiently use available resources to meet and contribute to the national and J&K’s public health priorities.

     

    ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

     

    • Work closely with the concerned state nodal officers for planning, roll out and monitoring of the proposed provisions under PM-ABHIM
    • Support the state and districts in program implementation activities for the proposed TA including supportive supervision and data validation.
    • Support in development of training manuals for building capacity of state/district staff and healthcare functionaries based in the state.
    • Coordinate and support the state nodal officers in capacity building of the district and block functionaries including providing regular guidance and onsite handholding support during supportive supervision visits
    • Contribute to the development of annual plans/ state NHM PIPs
    • Carry out analysis of data related to program implementation activities and support in reporting the progress as per the specified templates/ formats.
    • Support in documentation of various activities under the program and timely preparation of required progress reports, updates etc.
    • Coordinate for other need-based tasks as requested by the government and PATH team.

     

     

    Required Skills Required Experience

     

    • Master’s Degree/Diploma in Public Health or related field.
    • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in professional experience in demanding, results-oriented environments in the public sector and/or Private sector.
    • Prior work experience with state or national government.
    • Deep understanding of the National Health Mission, PM ABHIM, XV-FC and other related public health programs.
    • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
    • Strong command of English and Hindi required.
    • Strong communication skills, including the development of compelling presentations with the ability to translate technical content and results in formats suitable for various audiences.

     

     

    TRAVEL: The position requires us to undertake frequent visits to districts to ensure timely completion of project activities in the state.
