    JOB OVERVIEW: Atlas Van Lines is seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and energetic candidate to join our Fleet Corporate Resources team! The Driver Recruiter is responsible for recruiting and processing CDL tractor-trailer drivers for various direct lease fleets. This position’s duties include the following:

    • Reviewing new driver applications and follow up on a regular and timely basis
    • Monitoring and assisting contractors with application processing in the Safety department
    • Assisting in coordinating and implementing recruiting programs as needed to maintain a level of various fleets as directed by management
    • Transcription, typing, filing, and reporting as directed
    • Preparing responses to contractor inquires of interest in leasing to Atlas. Monitoring and tracking responses to different types of ads that have been placed to determine feasibility
    • Coordinating contractor and Driver referral process for agents

    EMPLOYMENT TYPE & HOURS: This full-time position will consist of 40 hours per week. Hours fall between 8:00am and 5:00pm, M-F. Possible overtime during peak season.

    Required Skills

    • Prior recruiting experience is required
    • Knowledge of Excel Spreadsheet and Word Processing software such as Microsoft Office is required
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Prior phone and/or customer service experience is a plus
    • Effective problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills
    • Ability to multitask
    • Good reasoning ability and detail-oriented
    • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills
    • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, agents, and other outside organizations
    • Search Engine Optimization (SEO) knowledge
    • Lead Source Management knowledge
    • Advertising and/or Marketing experience is preferred
