TITLE: Community focused therapist for underserved populations.
RESPONSIBLE TO: Clinical Director
WORK AREA: In the community, in office, telehealth.
SIGN-ON BONUS: $2500
SUMMARY:
To support our goal of offering zero-barrier services for historically underserved populations, we are looking for a driven therapist who is passionate about working with a primarily Medicaid population and meeting clients where they are at, such as in their homes, shelters, or community centers. You will work with a diverse team of Case Managers, therapists, and medication providers to support clients on their path to self-sufficiency.
This highly collaborative position offers regular support through clinical meetings, staff support meetings, trainings, and partnering with other providers. We are also happy to offer clinical supervision towards full licensure for those who need it.
This position pays per billable hour plus admin time and includes guaranteed paid training hours in the first month.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Candidate must have a Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Counseling, or Clinical Mental health Counseling from an accredited university.
Licensure: Candidates must possess one of the following licenses: CSW, LCSW, AMFT, LMFT, ACMHC, or CMHC in the state of Utah
Experience/Skills: Experience with best practices in therapeutic care, advocacy, and outreach. Prior experience with unhoused populations is a plus. Prior experience with Medicaid is a plus.
Physical Effort: Requires the ability to work under stressful conditions and to work irregular hours. Willing to spend time in the community including client homes, shelters, and community centers. Requires sitting for extended periods of time, viewing computer monitors, and keyboarding.
Communication Skills: Candidates must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in order to communicate professionally via telephone and in writing. Strong grammar and writing skills are crucial for clear and concise communication with clients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
Essential Technical/Motor Skills: Candidates must achieve competency in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) program, telemedicine services, and any additional software programs utilized by the company, ensuring efficient access and updating of client information. The role requires fine dexterity, adept handling, and proficient gripping abilities to perform various tasks.
Background: The candidate must pass all federal and state background checks, and their educational and work history will be confirmed incompliance with company policies.
