Job Description
JOB SUMMARY: This is a management position in the 988 Call Center. The 988 Call Center is a mental health crisis line intended to:
· De-escalate crisis situations.
· Relieve the immediate distress of individuals experiencing a crisis situation.
· Reduce the risk of individuals in a crisis situation doing harm to themselves or others.
· Promote timely access to appropriate services for those who require ongoing mental health or co-occurring mental health and substance use services.
· Provide mental health information and/or referrals as requested.
· Resolve at least 80% of all calls without further intervention.
The 988 Call Center Clinical Quality Assurance (QA) Supervisors will:
· Provide live Clinical Quality Assurance reviews of staff as they handle mental health calls, texts, and chats.
· Provide clinical support to staff as they handle deeply difficult mental health calls.
· Coordinate with Managers and Trainers to identify staff needs and remediation of skills.
· Provide Quality Assurance reviews of calls, texts, and chats in coordination with Clinical QA Managers.
· Act as back-up for other Clinical Quality Assurance Supervisor as needed for PTO or sick leave.
· Assist the Assistant Director of 988 Operations in running reports or other required information.
· Provide emergency on-call after-hour assistance as needed.
Education and Requirements:
· Master’s degree in a clinical field of study (Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, etc.).
· Maintain clinical therapeutic licensure (LCSW, LCPC, LMFT, LPC, etc.).
· Previous experience in crisis response, substance use disorders, juvenile justice, advocacy, mental/behavioral health, psychiatric nursing, or equivalent preferred.
· Those applicants with crisis response or similar experience may waive training and exams; however they will be required to review the materials to understand the training staff will be receiving. Those with no previous experience in crisis response or similar experience will be required to complete PATH Inc.’s AAS/Lifeline 50 hours of Crisis Intervention/Suicide Prevention training and pass all related exams with a 90% or better proficiency.
SALARY: $60,000.00
