Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Med Surg RN to join our dynamic team in Atlanta, GA. As a Med Surg RN, you will be responsible for providing exceptional nursing care to patients on our medical/surgical unit. This position requires a deep commitment to patient well-being, clinical expertise, and effective teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans in collaboration with healthcare team members.

Monitoring and managing patient symptoms and conditions, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed.

Educating patients and their families about their conditions, medications, and home care needs.

Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of patient care.

Qualifications:

Active RN license in Georgia.

At least three (3) years of current experience in an acute care, medical/surgical unit in an urban, academic Medical Center setting (exclusive of agency assignments).

Must have worked within the last six (6) months in the above settings to ensure familiarity with current practices and protocols.

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
