    Repair Technician I FLSA: Non-Exempt/Hourly

    Job Summary:

    Repair Technician I is responsible for the repair and service of PAX Technology products in accordance with prescribed procedures.

    Supervisory Responsibilities:

    None

    Duties/Responsibilities: * Test, troubleshoot, and repair electronic devices at SMD/IC/component level accurately and

    efficiently. * Accurately and efficiently test a variety of moderately complex products to achieve customer

    quality. * Accurately record and document repair records and support incidents in company systems.

    Accurately and efficiently download & configure a variety of initial applications and system

    settings. * Actively contributes to lean initiatives to increase productivity and reduce costs.

    Maintain, manage, track, and log inventory of product in workstation and assigned work area.

    Rework assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes.

    Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards.

    Perform all work in accordance with company's production specification and established operation procedures.

    Provide daily progress report.

    Maintain a clean and safety focused work area.

    Receives general supervisory guidance.

    May perform other related responsibilities.

    Required Skills/Abilities: * Ability to read, interpret, understand, and follow blueprints, schematics, diagrams, specifications, bills of materials, testing software on-screen prompts & instructions, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products.

    Ability to utilize production and maintenance tools and equipment such as proprietary testing system, electric screwdriver, compressed air system, ionizing air gun, torque gauge/tester, soldering station, heat plate, PCB rework station, testing system & equipment, label printer, electric scale, scanner, digital caliper Windows PC, etc.

    Experienced with MS Office Suite.

    Must have positive attitude and excellent attendance.

    Education and Experience: * High school diploma or equivalent required.

    Two years of Chip level repair/ electronics technician experience preferred.

    Experienced with MS Office Suite with demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.

    Job Types: Full-time, Contract

    Salary: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

    Schedule:

    8 hour shift

    Monday to Friday

    Education:

    High school or equivalent (Preferred)

    Experience:

    Electronic Repair: 1 year (Preferred)

    License/Certification:

    Driver's License (Required)
