What we do
PAXAFE provides an autonomous AI-enabled decision support system for supply chain leaders to exhibit resiliency and automation from their visibility investments.
PAXAFE’s SaaS platform — CONTXT — is a device-agnostic risk-management platform (powered by ATHENA LLM) that automates lane mapping and temperature management workflow, minimizes product and lane qualification lead times and reduces overall product loss for Life Science shippers and service providers.
PAXAFE contextualizes active and passive visibility data, quantifies risk and predicts OTIF adverse events.
Job Description:
As PAXAFE’s first People Operations hire, you will work with the CEO to help build the People Ops function from the ground up. People Ops will create and maintain a holistic and inclusive, remote-first high-performance culture that recognizes results and output. People Ops will continuously boost team engagement and retention by identifying and implementing ways to empower employees to ensure they thrive. People Ops will own employee recruiting and retention, and will develop strategies and implement tactics to drive efficiency and effectiveness across both. People Ops will also stand up a Performance Management Process, ensuring that PAXAFE employees at all levels continuously understand their own performance and career growth opportunities within PAXAFE.
Responsibilities:
Employee retention: Maximize employee engagement and happiness to minimize employee churn and turnover
Employee recruiting: minimize time-to-hire, ensuring a seamless process that clearly communicates with each and every single candidate. Develop strategies to improve inbound quality of applicants (right level, right experience, targeted talent)
Own the employee onboarding / offboarding process using tools like Rippling and Notion
Work with each function to develop employee onboarding / training content to make sure that each new hires’ onboarding experience is excellent and identical
Research and implement remote workforce management tools, games, etc. that boost engagement and ‘connection’ amongst peers and co-workers
Develop a real-time performance management mechanism that ensures top-down, peer-to-peer and bottoms-up feedback is incorporated and continuously reviewed
Structure a conflict management process that allows for PAXAFE team members to safely and effectively communicate and report their concerns, conflicts, etc. Work with leadership to help resolve conflict
Facilitate and environment that breeds an exchange of diverse and inclusive thoughts, ideas and people. Stand up relevant diversity and inclusion metrics that continuously ensure PAXAFE’s commitment to growing and maintaining a diverse workforce
Assist the Leadership team with carrying out important internal communications and announcements
Assist with the selection of various HR Information Systems (HRIS) tools, such as Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), Professional Employer Organizations (PEOs), etc.
Conduct periodic compensation and benefits benchmarking studies, ensuring that PAXAFE remains competitive relative to similar stage companies
Ensure that dedicated outsourced provider teams are made to feel a part of the PAXAFE team
Work closely with the Leadership Team to manage hiring roadmap and candidate pipeline
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in B2B SaaS startup or Big Tech People Ops
Ability to quickly master various SaaS Human Resources (HR) system configurations, and optimize for PAXAFE’s use
Experience scaling a team from ~20 to 100+ people
Excellent problem-solving and investigative skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Certification in Human Capital Management, Talent, Performance, Advanced Compensation
Bachelor’s Degree in English, Communications, Psychology, Business, Engineering or a related field
