What we do
PAXAFE provides an autonomous AI-enabled decision support system for supply chain leaders to exhibit resiliency and automation from their visibility investments.
PAXAFE’s SaaS platform — CONTXT — is a device-agnostic risk-management platform (powered by ATHENA LLM) that automates lane mapping and temperature management workflow, minimizes product and lane qualification lead times and reduces overall product loss for Life Science shippers and service providers.
PAXAFE contextualizes active and passive visibility data, quantifies risk and predicts OTIF adverse events.
Job Overview
As a Data Science Sales Engineer with PAXAFE, you will work directly with enterprise sales teams as a data science subject matter expert to optimize configuration and maximize customer value behind PAXAFE’s supply chain risk platform. The ideal candidate will be the 'voice' of our data team, adept at translating complex customer requirements into compelling and simple solutions for our customers. This role is pivotal in ensuring customer delight by addressing their needs in collaboration with our Customer Success team. You will help prospective customers and partners understand the power of our platform, explaining technical features, helping customers design architectures, and problem-solving through potential roadblocks. In this role, you will work closely with customers, Product, Customer Success and Growth teams to optimize for usage and value of CONTXT intelligence platform. Responsibilities
Work with the team to identify and qualify business opportunities, understand key customer technical objections, and develop the strategy to resolve technical blockers
Provide in-depth data science expertise to support the technical relationship with customers, including product and solution briefings and proof-of-concept work. Partner directly with product management to prioritize solutions impacting customer adoption to PAXAFE’s platform
Translate complex data findings into understandable, actionable insights for customers. Create presentations and reports that clearly communicate these insights
Engage directly with customers to understand their data needs and challenges, ensuring a seamless customer experience
Work closely with the customer success team to align data solutions with customer goals and objectives. Act as a bridge between the data and customer success teams
Work on onboarding customer shipping lanes onto PAXAFE’s various intelligence products
Gather customer feedback on data products and services, and work with the data team to implement improvements
Travel to customer sites, conferences, and other related events
Requirements
3+ years in data science, machine learning, or related field
Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Python, SQL, Superset).
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex data to non-technical audiences.
Strong understanding of customer needs and the ability to empathize with customer perspectives.
Be comfortable talking about technical concepts, and explaining how PAXAFE works, both from a product feature and Data science perspective
Bonus: Prior experience from a fast-growing startup, Big Tech or Supply Chain Visibility / Risk Management software
