    We are currently seeking to add an ENVIRONMENTAL PROFESSIONAL (DUE DILIGENCE) to our dynamic team in PORTLAND, OREGON OR SEATTLE, WASHINGTON.

    WORKING WITH THE PBS TEAM

    PBS Engineering and Environmental Inc. (PBS) is a multi-discipline consulting firm that has been providing engineering and environmental consulting services in the Pacific Northwest since 1982. PBS is looking for energetic professionals who welcome the opportunity to join our highly-respected due diligence consulting team.  

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    The individual we are seeking will have solid Phase I ESA and related consulting experience.  As part of this position, experience with the following is desirable: 

    • Phase I Environmental Site Assessments per ASTM Designation: E1527 – 13
    • NEPA Environmental Assessments (EA) in accordance with federal protocols
    • Writing professional ESA reports for senior review and clients
    • Performance of field investigation and other consulting project duties
    • Working directly with clients to provide suitable pricing and schedule

     MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:

    • Minimum three (3) years’ experience in technical activities directly related to Due Diligence/Phase I ESA activities, including report writing and field investigation.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Natural Resources, Geology, Engineering, or related environmental/engineering field experience
    • Knowledge of state and federal environmental regulations
    • Frequent regional travel and/or field work (valid driver’s license required)
    • Able to communicate effectively (written and verbal) with co-workers, clients, and subcontractors
    • Able to represent PBS to the client in a professional manner
    • Able to work with minimal oversight, but take direction from senior staff
    • Required knowledge of computer operations and standard software packages (Microsoft Office and Teams, Adobe)
