In this role, you will work closely with the | | Senior Public Involvement and Marketing Manager, as well as with the | | Marketing and Communications teams, which specialize in writing, graphic | | design, communication, and collaboration. The ideal candidate is open | | and approachable, who can listen to, learn from, and bring together | | varying points of view to move a project forward while making others | | feel valued, heard, and seen. | | | |   | | | | JOB RESPONSIBILITIES | | | | - Assist in creating and executing public involvement plans for public | | agencies and private clients. | | - Plan, attend, and facilitate stakeholder meetings and events | | (virtual, hybrid, and in person). | | - Work with PBS staff, graphic designers, and editors on materials | | and presentations. | | - Attend client meetings to plan and to provide guidance, feedback, | | and updates. | | - Write persuasively for proposals about our PI services to win | | new business. | | - Help create scopes of work and fee estimates. | | - Travel occasionally in Oregon and Washington. | | - Fulfill other related tasks as needed. | | | |   | | | | MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS | | | | - Degree, certification, or equivalent experience in communications, | | public relations, English, journalism, or a related field. | | - Two (2) or more years’ related professional or volunteer experience. | | - Strong written and oral communication skills. | | - Willingness to uphold PBS’ diversity, equity, and inclusion values. | | - Advanced meeting and event planning and facilitation skills. | | - Proficiency with Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel, | | and PowerPoint. | | - Ability to work in-person or hybrid (a mix of in-person and remote) | | from the PBS Vancouver office 3 to 5 days per week. | | | |   | | | | WE VALUE DIVERSITY | | | |   | | | | The PBS team reflects the diversity of our clients.
