    We are currently seeking to add a SURVEY FIELD TECHNICIAN to our dynamic team in RICHLAND, WASHINGTON.

    WORKING WITH THE PBS TEAM

    The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Survey Field Technician. The candidate must work well with staff and clients, have good organizational skills, and exhibit excellent communication skills. A strong interest and ability in mathematics is a plus.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

    • Assist the Survey Crew Chief with calculations for boundary, topographic, construction, and ALTA surveys.
    • Assist with adjustment and calibration of Survey equipment.
    • Maintain the inventory of consumable supplies in the work truck.
    • Keep the work truck clean and organized.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    • High school diploma or G.E.D. Experience as a Survey Field Technician is desired but not required for this position.
    • Ability to take accurate and legible field notes. An example of personal field notes will be required during the initial interview process.
    • Valid driver's license and clean driving record with the ability to be insured by our auto insurance.

     PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 

    • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
    • Ability to lift and carry loads of up to 50 pounds over uneven ground.
    • Ability to work in fluctuating, outdoor, year-around temperatures.
