About the Role:

Join Caring Companions, LLC as a PCA/Caregiver/Home Health Aide, where you will make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you care for. We are looking for compassionate individuals to provide essential support and companionship to our clients in Windsor, CT.

Specific Assignment: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 1pm-4pm - Windsor. *This is a part time position that can be added to other assignments to build up your schedule.

Responsibilities:

Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.

Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.

Administer medications and monitor health conditions as directed by healthcare professionals.

Help with meal preparation and ensure nutritional needs are met.

Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.

Document care provided and report any changes in client status to supervisors.

Engage clients in social and recreational activities to promote mental well-being.

Follow care plans and collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care.

Requirements:

Must have a valid PCA/Home Health Aide certification or equivalent experience.

Previous experience in caregiving or healthcare preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to lift and assist clients as needed.

Compassionate, patient, and dependable demeanor.

Willingness to undergo background checks and training as required.

Reliable transportation to travel to client locations.

First Aid and CPR certification is a plus.
