Principal Objective
Under the supervision of the Personal Training Coordinator, certified nutrition consultants will provide private and semi-private health, wellness, and nutrition sessions to fee-based clients. Nutrition consultants will assist the Fitness program by holding a standard of service and continually striving for personal spiritual growth.
Principal Roles and Responsibilities
Personal Nutrition Consultant: Plan, provide, and coach private and semi-private lessons relating to techniques and strategies of health, wellness, and nutrition to adult and youth members.
Conduct occasional workshops and/or talks to groups of members with the goal of connecting with members and making the connections that lead to private consults.
Assist with occasional posts in our Healthy Eating private facebook group.
Represent the Center in a professional manner
Administer and enforce Center policies
Ensure that all Center members and guests receive courteous, prompt and professional attention to their personal health and nutrition needs
Market PCC wellness and nutrition program to members and guests
Maintain a close working relationship with other Center professionals
Maintain an accurate record/schedule of all private sessions and clinics given
Health, Nutrition, and Wellness Expert: CNCs will work to review a member’s current nutrition habits and wellness goals such as weight loss and disease prevention. The CNC then works with the member to make diet and lifestyle changes aligned with their goals. They also assist members by answering any questions, tracking progress, and creating meal plans for members and/or workshop participants.
Requirements and Qualifications
Certifications: Must be a certified Nutrition Consultant (or certified equivalent), and have 2+ years of experience working with clients.
Hours
Approx. 2 - 10 hours per week depending on member appointments and demand.
