    POSITION SUMMARY:

    Peninsula Community Center is where we "build healthy meaningful personal connections through sports and fitness so that as many people thrive as they feel known and valued by name" is at the heart of everything we do at PCC. We are looking for an experienced competent Member Account Coordinator to help with the organization and running of the daily member account duties of the Center. The ideal candidate will be a hard-working professional able to undertake a variety of office support tasks and work diligently under pressure. This person will be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and discretion as well as incorporating new and effective ways to achieve better results.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

    Answer Phone Calls, Monitor Emails, Filing

    Maintain Trusting Relationships with Members and Colleagues

    Maintaining the Billing System

    Generating Invoices, Credits and Account Statements

    Perform Account Reconciliations

    Maintain Accounts Receivables, Files and Records

    Process, Post Incoming Payments

    Complete Required Paperwork and Reports as Requested.

    Additional Duties as Assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    A positive attitude, with a flexible and helpful mindset. The ability to learn and work with others.

    Ability to work independently and productively.

    Experience in general administrative support duties is desirable.

    Must be customer/client focused.

    Basic to complex mathematics proficiency using calculator and/or computer required.

    Possess problem solving skills.

    Proven working experience with Accounts Receivable

    Solid Understanding of Basic Accounting Principles, Fair Credit Practices and Collections.

    Data Entry Skills Along with a Knack for Numbers

    Excellent Organizational and Time Management Skills

    Analytical Abilities and Aptitude in Problem-Solving

    Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills

    Proficiency in MS Office and Google Docs/Spreadsheets

    Schedule:

    Flexible

    Part-time (15-25 hrs per week)

    Education/Experience:

    Accounting: 1-3 years (Preferred)

    Accounts Receivable: 1-3 years (Preferred)
