    Position Overview:The Field Training Manager thrives in a dynamic and high energy environment. As a part of the field leadership team, they work directly with the field to improve sales and customer service behaviors to impact results. They are also a key driver of local development programs to promote leadership growth of sales management teams and create a culture of internal growth. They are results driven and can be counted on to exceed goals with integrity. The Field Training Manager has experience in a retail sales environment, and can identify gaps in behaviors and work directly with the teams for improvement. The Field Training Manager works directly with the District Manager on the strategic development of the district to positively impact profit, people and processes. The Field Training Manager must have competencies in customer focus, change & innovation, business acumen, strategic thinking, curriculum development & implementation/facilitation, relationship building & influencing, and talent management.

    Responsibilities:•Work collaboratively with district and store leadership to ensure execution of web based trainings, new hire training, Sales Floor Coach Workshop & Certification, Driving Sales Performance Workshop, and internal and Carrier driven initiatives to a completion rate at or above company goal•Partner with HR and Recruiting departments to align on logistics for newly hired employees and create training and onboarding plans for all new employees in their district•Work with district and store leadership to identify sales behavior opportunities and identify training initiatives to develop the appropriate skill sets needed by the team•Development of relevant curriculum and content for identified company needs•Attend district and regional meetings to develop quarterly business plans and collaborate on priorities and needed strategies to respond to the business•Develop culture of recognition and development within stores and district by creating sustainable processes and succession plans•Drive performance in all customer service KPIs through communication, recognition, training, store observations and accountability measures•Collaborate with training store managers to ensure new hire training is completed for compliance and effectiveness. Work directly with hiring managers to assist in the transition of new employees and follow up on new hire performance post training•Collaboratively work with leadership to develop reinforcement and sustainment activities to ensure success of newly hired employees• Participate on internal project teams as assigned, providing relevant field feedback on training content, and execution plans•Facilitate in an ILT or VILT format and organize developmental programs including sales trainings, career development programs, competency based leadership training and other local trainings based on company & district needsJob Requirements:•3+ years of wireless retail or related leadership experience•3+ years professional training experience•Ability to problem-solve and leverage negotiation skills to reach sound analytical outcomes with key business partners•Able to collaborate with business partners to identify specific factors beyond training that contribute to a change in performance•Understanding of performance management and coaching techniques•Strong understanding of Adult & Millennial Learning Principles•Working knowledge of Microsoft applications, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook•High School Diploma/GED
