    Job Description

    JOB TITLE BENEFITS/HR SPECIALIST

    JOB SUMMARY Located in Huntsville or Atmore, AL corporate work site and reporting to the Corporate Director of Human Resources, the Benefits/HR Specialist will be working on multiple projects to assist with meeting the scope and objectives for supporting the PCI Federal Services and affiliated LLC’s HR needs. NOTE: THIS IS NOT A REMOTE OR WORK FROM HOME POSITION.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Assists with coordination of all employee benefits; assists human resource programs including employee policies, and onboarding procedures, engagement initiatives and other employee-related matters.
    • Will take the lead for benefits information and coordination for employee questions and needs.
    • Serves as a point of contact to answer general HR-related inquiries and responds to questions or concerns timely and accurately.
    • Provides assistance with reporting and tracking tasks under OFCCP federal contractor requirements.
    • Assists with company daily HR office/support needs and administration tasks as assigned.
    • Other duties and projects as may be needed/assigned.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS *

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution with emphasis in HR or related field is strongly preferred. – (60 hours+ of related college courses is required)
    • 3+ years of experience working in an HR office and with experience coordinating company medical, dental, leave benefits information is required.
    • Extensive capabilities and experience with the Microsoft Office Suite of products.
    • Experience working with Del Tek HR/Accounting systems is required.
    • Demonstrated experience in organizing and implementing projects, programs and meetings to support the high-level goals of the organization.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
    • Strong attention to detail.
    • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while meeting competing deadlines.
    • Experience working directly with legal documentation and high-level correspondence needs.
    • Valid driver’s license is required.

     

    TRAVEL As necessary in town, in state, and to other PCIFS locations as needed.
