Registered Nurse (RN) – Day Shift

Assignment: 13 weeks | 36–48 hrs/week

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides high-quality patient care by following individualized care plans and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team. The RN supervises LPNs, CNAs, and orientees while maintaining a strong focus on patient and employee safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments within 8 hours of admission

• Develop, implement, and document individualized plans of care

• Provide direct patient care and patient/family education

• Participate in interdisciplinary team conferences

• Initiate discharge planning from admission

• Communicate patient status changes to care team and physicians

• Supervise and delegate tasks to ancillary staff

• Promote a safe, positive, and team-focused work environment

Requirements

• Active RN license

• BLS & ACLS (required prior to first shift)

• Minimum 2 years bedside clinical experience

• Stepdown, ICU, or LTAC experience
