    Job Description

    PDG Consulting (PDGC) is a Los Angeles-based software consulting firm specializing in custom Web Application Development, Business Intelligence, and Digital Transformation for the Media, Entertainment and Content Distribution industries.  We are seeking an experienced Systems Architect with a solid foundation in application design, systems architecture, and workflow analysis.  The candidate must be a motivated self-starter and have the ability to operate in a highly collaborative team environment.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Solicit client requirements through interviews and existing business and systems documentation
    • Analyze current state workflows; design and document future state workflows
    • Define key business metrics and perform data analysis to inform proposed system modifications
    • Compose and assemble business and technical documentation
    • Lead and conduct technical discussions with cross-functional teams to resolve complex problems
    • Serve as a Scrum Product Owner (user stories, product roadmap, backlog management]
    • Onsite presence at our clients is a requirement for this role and our services
    • Ensuring that a healthy, safe, and secure work environment is always maintained and by all staff, in compliance with corporate policies and federal and state regulations

    REQUIRED SKILLS:

    • B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or other physical science
    • 5+ years of business or systems analysis.  Workflow and process design is a plus
    • 2+ years Scrum Product Owner.  Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Scrum Master (CSM) is a plus
    • 2+ years Unix/Linux
    • 2+ years of SQL
    • 1+ year scripting language (Python or equivalent)
    • Solid experience in assembling complex systems architecture and workflow diagrams
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills in a technically challenging environment – must be able to think critically and independently
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
