Position Summary: This position is responsible for providing accounting, reporting and analytical support. The Financial Analyst works directly with management on a broad spectrum of process improvement/cost savings initiatives as well as budgeting and forecasting issues. Detailed Description: * Financial analysis of cost savings and process improvement initiatives. * Work with operations and management to identify, quantify, measure, and track savings. * Assist in the development of processes and tools to efficiently and effectively manage and report on results. * Support company-wide forecasting and budgeting requirements. * Makes recommendations contributing to the achievement of the business's objectives. * Communicate with various departments in all levels of the Organization. * Communicate with Company suppliers in a clear and professional manner. * Ability and willingness to engage in highly energetic pursuits on the waterfront. * Maintain a commitment to and promote the Quality and Environmental, Health & Safety Policies. * Abide by and enforce all organizational policies and procedures. Core Competencies: * Financial Acumen - interpreting and applying understanding of key financial indicators to make better business decisions. * Optimizes Work Processes (Quality & Continuous Improvement) - Knowing the most effective and efficient processes to get things done, with a focus on continuous improvement. * Communicates Effectively - Developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.
