Pediatric Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner
Rapidly growing pediatric practice is seeking a full-time Pediatric Nurse
Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our amazing team. Peak Pediatrics is
committed to providing excellent patient care to the diverse population that we
serve. In addition to routine well and acute care, we provide integrated mental
health, social work and nursing care coordination.
PEDIATRIC NURSE PRACTITIONER OR PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT JOB OVERVIEW:
appropriate to his or her training, experience and skills.
disease, illness and injury in newborns through young adults.
illness or injury, orders and interprets diagnostic tests and patient history to
arrive at a diagnosis and prescribes treatment and medications accordingly.
caregivers and patient input into treatment plan.
PEDIATRIC NURSE PRACTITIONER QUALIFICATIONS:
__EDUCATION: Graduate of accredited Nurse Practitioner program with a
Master’s degree.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATIONS:
Required: Active Nurse Practitioner and RN
licenses in the state of Colorado, current BLS and PALS certifications
through America Heart Association.
Preferred: Pediatric Nurse Practitioner
Certification through accredited agency
PEDIATRIC PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: Graduate of a school approved by the Accreditation Review
Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant. A Master’s degree is
preferred.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
Required : Active Physician Assistant license in
State of Colorado, current BLS and PALS certifications through American
Heart Association.
Preferred: Current certification from National Committee
on Certification of Physician Assistants.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
highly desirable, but not required
HOURS:
40 hours per week. Position will be located primarily at our Thornton
location, with occasional assistance at our Wheat Ridge office.
BENEFITS:
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
_Schedule: _10 hour shift
_Supplemental pay types: _Bonus pay
Experience: Pediatric NP/PA: 2 years (Preferred)
