    Pediatric Medical Assistant

    Peak Pediatrics is a rapidly growing provider, with roles open in our Wheat Ridge

    location. To assist our dedicated medical assistants with to balance personal and work

    needs, we are transitioning to a four day work week, 10 hours each day. And as

    Medical Assistant Responsibilities Include:

    • Welcoming pediatric patients in a friendly and professional manner
    • Preparing patients for provider exam.
    • Verifying patient information, confirming purpose for treatment or visit.
    • Ensuring high-quality patient care delivery by supporting providers during exams.
    • Preparing laboratory specimens; performing basic laboratory tests on thepremises; disposing of contaminated supplies; sterilizing medical instruments; administering medications on the premises (oral, intramuscular, subcutaneous, nebulized); administering immunizations; drawing blood; splinting; removing sutures; changing dressings; spirometry; assisting providers with procedures.
    • Maintaining safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing office policies and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
    • Updating job knowledge through continuing education.
    • Possessing abilities to work well as a member of a team and excellent communication skills.
    • Must be willing to travel to both our Wheat Ridge and Thornton locations.

    Medical Assistant Certifications Required:

    • Graduate of an accredited school with a degree in Medical Assisting, certified medical assistant would be added bonus

    Job Type: Full-time

    Salary: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
